Letter from VP of Membership

Letter from VP of Membership

To interested members,

Welcome to the Alpha Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi! My name is Eden Tafesse and I am the current Vice President of Membership of the Alpha Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Syracuse University. I would like to formally welcome you to our chapter’s site. As the oldest and largest professional business fraternity in the United States and abroad, Alpha Kappa Psi has been recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders. As a member of the Executive Board for Spring 2019, I, along with the remainder of the Executive Board and the organization’s Brothers, strive not to be the exception to this premise. As Brothers, we believe and seek to live by the values of Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service and Unity in our thoughts, actions and words. We have built our network, both domestically and internationally, with the foundational blocks of these core values and strive to better ourselves in current and future interactions.

I joined Alpha Kappa Psi because I sought a campus community that would provide me with the resources and skills to become a better professional, broaden my horizons, expand my network, and improve my leadership. Since becoming a Brother of Alpha Kappa Psi, I have gained all of that and more; Alpha Kappa Psi has developed me professionally, personally, and given me some of my best friends.

If you are interested in joining the Syracuse University Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, I invite you to come to our recruitment events, meet and mingle with current Brothers, research our Fraternity’s guiding principles and ask questions on topics you hope to learn more about. Regardless of major, class standing or outside interest, there is a place for you in the Alpha Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi.

Join us and learn what Alpha Kappa Psi could mean for you. I hope to see you at this semester’s recruitment events and encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns.
